Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
ADEAF INC. is seeking Board-Certified Behavior Analysts to work with families that have children on the Autism Spectrum.
Job Duties:
- Meetings with clients to observe and assess their behavior.
- Work with families, teachers, or doctors to discuss the client’s treatment and progress and recommended ways to address behavioral issues.
- Develop individual plans to correct, maintain, or improve behavior.
- Training and working directly with parents.
- Administer the PDDBI, Vineland 3, SRS2 programs, PSI-4 and SIPA.
- Generate reports for insurance carriers.
- Helping clients set and meet behavior goals.
- Keep detailed notes of client meetings and progress.
- Work with Direct Intervention Technicians (RBTs) on methods to reinforce or reduce aggressive harmful and anti-social behaviors.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active BCBA certificate.
- Must be able to supervise a Direct Intervention Specialist (RBTs).
- You must have your BLS (basic life support certification).
Mandatory for all Employees:
- Background Check.
- TB Test clearance.
Compensation:
- Pay rate starts at $50 to $60 per hour depending on experience.

Registered Behavior Technician
We are seeking Registered Behavior Technicians. Autism Deaf Empowerment Advocacy Foundation, Inc. is looking for Register Behavior Technicians to work directly with children with autism to implement behavior programs and train family members.
ADEAF Inc. is an agency serving individuals in all 50 states with disabilities and behavioral challenges. We specialize in autism, skill delays, behavioral challenges, toileting, and feeding issues. ADEAF Inc.’s services are designed to meet the unique needs of individuals to help them function effectively in home, school, and community environments.
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will be working 1 on 1 with children diagnosed with autism. Behavior Assistant provides support and training in a variety of settings including homes, schools, and community locations(e.g., stores, shopping malls, parks, bowling, and many more.) The behavior Assistant is responsible for implementing the behavior plan and training the caregiver on how to implement the plan.
ADEAF Inc. focuses on creating systems-wide changes to benefit our clients and create success across many environments, involving the many different individuals in the client’s life. We believe that this positive change results from an integrated approach involving the individual as a whole. We serve those from 18 months through adults.
Duties:
- Work times vary depending on the age and needs of the client. Typically, services are provided in the afternoons, evening and occasionally on the weekend, and sometimes at school sites.
- Flexible schedules are available making this an ideal supplementary position for people currently employed as Teachers, Students, and/or Parents with requisite experience.
- We are looking for those individuals board certified with the BACB Board. Training is also required and provided to all who do not have it completed already.
- RBT’s receive the following: Pay of $23/hour depending on experience.
- Spanish speaking and Tricare certified is a plus.

Required Experiences:
- Applied Behavior Analysis/Paraprofessional – 1 year.
Required License or Certification:
- Active RBT certificate.

Behavior Technician
Responsibilities:
- Focus on changing the child’s behavior by observing and measuring the behavior in real-life environments.
- Gather behavioral data to track progress in reaching behavioral objectives identified in the behavior plan and periodically modify the plan, under the supervision of the BCBA, to adapt to the child’s response to the intervention.
- Implement learning programs (communication, self-help, and play skills) as written and instructed by the BCBA.
- Collect data on all behaviors targeted and meet with supervisor weekly to analyze the information gathered and participate in initial and ongoing training.
- Incorporate parent training so family members/caregivers can teach and support skills during typical family activities.
- Document each service activity on a service summary form.
- Complete mandatory training and refresher training.
- Properly report all critical incidents and safety concerns regarding persons receiving services.
- Ensure that documentation is completed promptly and by established organizational procedures.
- Participate in staff meetings as directed by the President or Director of ABA Services.
- Model and promote good communication, customer service, and positive representation of the organization to clients, customers, referral sources, and the public.
- Other responsibilities as requested by the President and/or Director of ABA Services.
Position Requirements:
- Must complete 40 hour RBT training.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal relationship skills.
- The desire for continued learning opportunities, and willingness to embrace instruction.
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary team members, and a desire to work with young children.
- Reliable attendance record.
- Must have a High School Diploma. Will consider individuals who have nearly completed their degrees.
- Valid California driver’s license and proof of full coverage on employee’s automobile. The position requires reliable transportation and a good driving record.
